Tipoff is a B2B account-intelligence platform. We process business information — company firmographics, publicly-posted buying signals (job posts, filings, news, community activity), and the CRM/list data you choose to import. Account holders provide a work email and workspace details.
Our optional website tag identifies visiting companies, never individuals. It sets no cookies, does no fingerprinting, and never stores full IP addresses — only truncated network prefixes matched against public network-registration data. It honors Global Privacy Control, Do-Not-Track, and your consent-management platform's signals server-side; opt-out traffic is dropped before any lookup. Full design: our company-identification specification.
Each customer's private CRM and behavioral data is logically isolated and never used to enrich another customer's accounts. The only data pooled across customers is public business information (firmographics and public buying signals).
We enrich records using commercially-licensed and public data providers, subject to their terms. We do not collect sensitive personal categories, and we do not perform covert tracking, unauthorized scraping, or bypass platform controls.
Website-visit records are retained for a rolling window (default 180 days) and then pruned. Workspace admins can delete a specific company's or person's records, or purge visit history, at any time; deletions are audit-logged. To request deletion, contact us at the address below.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based and least-privilege. Integration credentials you connect are encrypted with a key held only in our deployment environment and are never shown back to you or used for any other customer.
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, and to object to processing. We honor opt-out and regional privacy requirements. Contact us to exercise these rights.
